Kings of Leon and Gary Clark Jr. Rock MSG (A Gallery)

February 19, 2014

Kings of Leon returned to Madison Square Garden on Valentine’s Day as the group continued with their Mechanical Bull tour, supporting the group’s first record in three years. Joining the Nashville rockers was Gary Clark Jr., who opened the show with his popular tunes such as “Bright Lights” and “Ain’t Messin’ Around.” Kings of Leon took the stage to some elaborate production as the Because of the Times cut “Charmer” got the show started. Included in their string of hits “Use Somebody,” “Sex on Fire,” “Crawl,” “The Bucket” and others were new songs and rarer tunes “True Love Way,” “Temple,” “Family Tree” and the Mechanical Bull lead single “Supersoaker.” Marc Millman shared some images from the show.
