An all-star cast featuring the likes of Joe Russo, Marco Benevento, Wilco’s Nels Cline, the Antibalas Horns and many more came together at the Capitol Theatre on Thanksgiving’s eve to bring The Band’s iconic farewell, The Last Waltz, to life. The ensemble moved through unique takes on Band classics played on that famed evening such as “I Shall Be Released,” “Up on Cripple Creek,” “Ophelia” and of course, “The Weight,” among many others.
