Chris Stapleton dominated The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, performing “Was I Wrong” from his stellar new album From A Room and also teaming up with Fallon and Kevin Bacon as ZZ Top for a special “First Drafts of Rock” segment. 

The segment aims to uncover the very first drafts of the lyrics to iconic rock songs and last night Fallon, Stapleton and Bacon took on ZZ Top’s 1983 hit “Legs” with a very, very literal translation of the song’s title. They even manage a reference to “texting” before realizing that it is, in fact, 1983.
