It’s no secret that Prince had a special relationship with those on The Tonight Show, as both Jimmy Fallon and Questlove have shared the stage with him numerous times to go along with countless stories from behind the scenes. Last night, Fallon used the beginning of the show to tell a particularly hilarious Prince story. 

It all started the night Fallon and his wife gave birth to their daughter, when Questlove received a mysterious phone call from one of Prince’s people challenging Fallon to ping-pong at Susan Sarandon’s NYC ping pong establishment. Fallon obliged, ultimately showing up and getting his ass kicked by The Purple One.
