New Grateful Dead-themed musical Red Roses, Green Gold is currently playing at New York’s Minetta Lane Theatre. The show features a slew of Dead tunes, mostly from the Jerry Garcia/Robert Hunter catalog, and boasts musical supervision and arrangements from Dead & Company keyboardist Jeff Chimenti (read our interview with Chimenti on RRGG here, and watch the cast of RRGG perform “Friend of the Devil” in the Relix office here). Recently, The Jerry Garcia Foundation provided RRGG with a number of original Garcia art to display in their venue for fans to view before and after the show.
