Jazz Fest came to a close yesterday with an all-star cast of New Orleans musicians hitting the stage to put the second weekend in the books. Among the acts included were The Meters, who reunited for a special Jazz Fest slot, as well as Anders Osborne, Trombone Shorty (joined by Leo Nocentelli), Glen David Andrews with Cyril Meville, The Wild Magnolias and Dr. John. As night time fell, the acts retreated indoors where Preservation Hall Jazz Band hosted the Midnight preserves with the Blind Boys of Alabama, Christian Scott, Tao Seeger as well as Eric Krasno, Jesus Toomes and Adam Deitch of Lettuce. Those in attendance included Al Schnier of moe., among others. Dino Perrucci shared some photos from the day’s festivities.
