Axl Rose and Duff McKagan gave an interview recently, their first since reuniting with Slash as Guns N’ Roses, and did a real great job side-stepping the real reason why Izzy Stradlin and Steven Adler weren’t included. 

While Rose attributed Adler’s absence to his recent back surgery, Stradlin garnered a more vague response, with the frontman giving some jumbled “you never know with Izzy” type of thing. “You could have a conversation and think it’s one way, and then the next day it’s another way,” he said. Implying there was some type of conversation between the two.

Well, Stradlin has called a whole pile of bullshit on that, simply tweeting that the band didn’t want to split the money evenly. Boom.
