The A.V. Club’s Undercover Series may have had its most compelling and colorful entry yet as Sam Beam (Iron & Wine) offered up a cover of GWAR’s lovely ballad “Sick of You.” The kicker–GWAR was in attendance to evaluate the performance and safe to say, they didn’t enjoy it. “What the fuck was that?,” one of the band members, dressed in full GWAR attire, said to the other. “Tough crowd,” Beam responded.

GWAR has also participated in the series, performing Kansas’ “Carry On My Wayward Son” in 2012. It is bizarre and perfect and you can watch it here.
