Tipitina’s in New Orleans threw their annual Instruments a Comin’ show to benefit the Tipitina’s Foundation, which supplies local schools with instruments. The event featured performances from high school marching bands as well as Tiptina’s interns taking the stage. As night fell, Galactic hit the stage with Erika Falls as did Honey Island Swamp Band, New Orleans Suspects and a tribute to the late Big Chief Bo Dollis. Elsewhere in town, Glen David Andrews celebrated his birthday at d.b.a. with special guest Paul Sanchez. Dino Perrucci shared some photos from the evening’s festivities.
