PETA will come after you this weekend when you throw your meat of choice on the grill to celebrate the Fourth of July, but they did give us this very good ad featuring the very good dog and Iggy Pop. 

Soundtracked to Nick Cave’s “Breathless,” the partially-animated ad stars Pop and his dog navigating through what winds up being the dog’s dreamscape as they avoid animals with the type of respect that PETA promotes on a daily basis. PETA’s goal here is to convince you to be the animal lover your dog/pet thinks you are with their slogan that says exactly that.
