Here’s the Full Performance of “Let’s Go Crazy” from the ‘Saturday Night Live’ 40th Anniversary Afterparty

April 23, 2016

Tonight, Saturday Night Live will air a special tribute episode to Prince, who is woven into the fabric of the famed sketch comedy show. One of the best Prince moments from the SNL world didn’t come during a broadcast, however, but rather at the show’s afterparty following their epic 40th anniversary show.

Thanks to Jimmy Fallon, Prince was convinced to jump on stage and deliver an impromptu performance, digging into a slowed down version of “Let’s Go Crazy” with the likes of Maya Rudolph, Fallon, Emma Stone, HAIM, Cuba Gooding Jr., Bill Murray, Martin Short and many others on stage with him. It’s Prince at his most spontaneous and commanding, finishing out the performance by extending his guitar into the crowd.

Watch the full performance, new to YouTube thanks to former SNLer Tim Kazurinsky.
