Hall & Oates’ “You Make My Dreams Come True” Completely Ruins MSNBC Report from Hillary Clinton Rally

MSNBC was invaded by the sweet, sensual sounds of Hall & Oates in July as they attempted to throw it to Andrea Mitchell on the grounds at a Hillary Clinton rally in North Carolina.
Brian Williams tried not once, but twice to send it down to Mitchell only to have the smooth rock heroes’ tune “You Make My Dreams Come True” overwhelm the broadcast. As it turns out, the network had plugged into the venue’s PA system, which was piping in the music. Williams tried to get out, but was thrown back in making this a hilarious moment in live television.
