On Wednesday night, Brooklyn Bowl hosted the launch party for Ground Score IPA, a new beer collaboration from Relix, The String Cheese Incident’s Kyle Hollingsworth and Atlanta’s SweetWater Brewery. The evening opened with a panel discussion featuring Hollingsworth, SweetWater head brewer Nick Nock, Crosby Hop Farm’s Zak  Schroerlucke and Relix editor Dean Budnick. After a toast to the late John Perry Barlow, the four discussed the process of creating the beer (with more details available here in our series on the collaboration). Along with the debut of the IPA, the night included full sets from Big Something, who welcomed DJ Logic and Hollingsworth during their performance, and Hollingsworth’s solo band, which offered some String Cheese tunes along with covers of the Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, The Who and Cake.
