Gov’t Mule closed out their annual New Year’s Eve run at The Beacon Theatre in New York City on Sunday night, once again welcoming a number of guests throughout their two-set show, including Jackie Greene, Shawn Pelton, The Other Half Singers, The Chronic Horns and Jimmy Vivino. Mule also delivered a second set with a “revolution” theme, with songs featuring appropriate titles like Gil Scott-Heron’s “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised,” The Clash’s “Revolution Rock,” Sam Cooke’s “A Change is Gonna Come,” Bob Dylan’s “The Times They Are A-Changin’” and more.
