Foo Fighters’ Show at The Acropolis in Greece Looked as Cool as it Sounded

July 11, 2017

Foo Fighters played a show at the historic Acropolis in Greece, taking the stage at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus last night for their very first show in Greece, and what a night it was.

There aren’t concerts held at The Acropolis every night, or even every so often, and the committee who rules on such things was reportedly hesitant to approve a show by Grohl and the Foos due to the weight of the band’s equipment and surely the sheer volume of the show. But nonetheless, everything went off without a hitch and the show provided some incredible sightlines with the rock show built into one of the oldest structures in the world.

Musically, the band did what they’ve been doing nearly every night on their European tour thus far. Dominating the stage with one anthem after another as well as a new song debut, “Arrows.”

Listen to the opening “Times Like These,” the aforementioned “Arrows” and closing “Everlong” from a landmark show in Greece last night.
