Fleet Foxes Performing with an Icelandic Choir is Just Heavenly

It’s almost Friday, and you deserve something beautiful. Fleet Foxes are here to deliver, along with an angelic Icelandic choir and the gorgeous Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavík.

Robin Pecknold and company teamed up with Consequence of Sound before the band’s slot at Iceland Airwaves Music Festival this past fall, performing at Harpa with the all-female Graduale Nobili choir, who are known for their touring stints with fellow Icelander Björk.

The collective performed the title track from Fleet Foxes latest album Crack-Up, with Pecknold’s soaring vocals intertwining with the choir’s powerful harmonies that rang out in all corners of the venue. Even the camera work in the video is beautiful, consisting of one seamless shot that emerges from backstage and wanders around the various band members before retreating into the audience seating.
