Father John Misty descended on Late Night with Seth Meyers for both an interview and performance of his Pure Comedy epic “Things It Would’ve Been Helpful to Know Before the Revolution.” 

The interview was a far more relaxed, entertaining version of Josh Tillman, who dished on his ultra-religious upbringing and how he is a “cautionary tale” for parents who are strict about what music their child is allowed to listen to, referencing his appearance and current musical style. There is also talk about that scrapped Pure Comedy musical and his foray into acting, along with the performance.
