Father John Misty Brings New Look, New Songs to ‘SNL’ Debut

Father John Misty made his Saturday Night Live debut count last night as Josh Tillman (with a lot less beard than we’re used to seeing) presented a pair of tunes from his forthcoming LP Pure Comedy.
The first was a rather futuristic song about virtual reality sex (with Taylor Swift) dubbed “Total Entertainment Forever,” which Tillman released shortly prior to the performance. He then returned later in the Octavia Spencer-hosted episode for the title track from the album.
