This week on VICE, Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme will sit down to speak about the attacks on Paris. While Homme wasn’t on tour with the band at the time, Hughes recounts several downright chilling tales of the evening that claimed the lives of 89 people during their show at Le Batalcan. 

“Several people hid in our dressing room,” Hughes said. “The killers were able to get in and killed everyone except for a kid who was hiding under my leather jacket. People were playing dead and they were so scared. A great reason why so many were killed is because so many people wouldn’t leave their friends. So many people put themselves in front of people.” Homme sits there, at least in the preview, rightfully shaken as Hughes details the night.
