As Live for Live Music points out, Drake’s new album More Life reportedly namechecks the Grateful Dead in the song “Lose You” as he raps about having a better attitude about things.
I’m just takin’ what God will give me
Grateful like Jerry, Bob and Mickey
Better attitude, we’ll see where it gets me
So, that happened. Meanwhile, I’m sitting here wondering why Phil, Bill, Pigpen, Donna and the rest of the gang couldn’t get a shoutout.
