Dickey Betts Band Live Rehearsal in Florida (A Gallery)

On Wednesday night, former Allman Brothers Band guitarist Dickey Betts made his return to the stage, kicking off his comeback tour early with a surprise “live rehearsal” hometown performance at Sarasota, FL’s White Buffalo Saloon with his new band lineup that features son Duane on guitar, as well as Damon Fowler—a former member of ABB founding drummer Butch Trucks’ The Freight Train Band—keyboardist Mike Kach, bassist Pedro Arevalo and dual drummers Frankie Lombardi and Steve Camilleri. (Duane, Lombardi, Kach and Arevalo were all members of Dickey’s Great Southern band before his 2014 retirement.) Chris Marden shared some photos from the night.
