Resident music funny guys Deer Tick dawned their ugliest Christmas sweaters on Conan to perform a web-exclusive version of The Kinks’ “Father Christmas.” The 1977 single by the English rockers tells the inspiring tale of the English version of Santa who is beaten up by a gang of poor kids when they are presented with toys instead of money. Because, you see, toys are impractical.
Deer Tick also recently recruited the likes of Bryan Cranston (as Walter White), David Cross (not as Tobias Funke) and many more to spread a self deprecating message as a promotion for the aptly titled album, Negativity.
