Dave Matthews Band performed at Johannesburg’s Coca-Cola Dome last night as the band wrapped up its three night run in South Africa after two nights in Cape Town. During the show, the band welcomed renowned South African trumpeter Hugh Masekela on stage for a performance of DMB’s “Proudest Monkey” as well as Masekela’s original “Grazing in the Grass.” The instrumental has been featured in DMB shows before, most recently as a brief tease in “Warehouse” during the group’s 11/13/07 IZOD Center show.
