Dave Grohl’s infamous tumble from the stage in 2015 will forever be a chapter in his bio, everything from the devastating fall itself to returning an hour later to somehow finish the show with his leg propped up on a chair. 

Today, Grohl reunited with Johan, the paramedic who sat with Grohl and held his leg in place until a cast arrives while he led the Foos through tunes like Queen’s “Under Pressure.” As Grohl later wrote, “I looked at my EMT Johan in the eyes and said, ‘Well, then you’re coming up there with me right now and holding it in place until they can bring the cast here.”

He added, “I don’t know who was having more fun–me or Johan.”
