D’Angelo, Maya Rudolph and Gretchen Lieberum Pay Emotional Tribute to Prince on ‘The Tonight Show’

After nearly a week of Prince tributes from every corner of the music world, there is finally a definitive tribute and it came last night from D’Angelo, Maya Rudolph and Gretchen Lieberum (as Princess) on The Tonight Show.
The trio came together for an extraordinarily emotional and touching rendition of Prince’s tune “Sometimes it Snows in April,” with D’Angelo being forced off the mic late in the tune as he was overcome with emotion.
