Conor McGregor is Thankful for the (String) Cheese
Well, not quite. But sort of.
MMA superstar Conor McGregor marked the one-year anniversary of his fake retirement with a similar tweet to the one that stirred up the social media world. In 2016, McGregor randomly tweeted: “I have decided to retire young. Thanks for the cheese. Catch ya later.”
This understandably made everyone lose their collective shit. McGregor was only kidding and yesterday reaffirmed his appreciation for the cheese bestowed onto him. One year from a few months from now, he’ll be able to mark the anniversary of getting his teeth bashed in by Floyd Mayweather.
But String Cheese Incident just wants Conor to know that they appreciate the love.
