Broken Bells Talk New Album, Perform Acoustic Songs

Broken Bells, the duo consisting of The Shins’ James Mercer and producer Danger Mouse, will release their latest effort After the Disco January 30 (or February 4 for you iTunes purchasers). This week, they stopped by WNYC for a Soundcheck session that included an interview as well as acoustic performances of “Holding on For Life” as well as “October,” a track from their 2010 self-titled record.
