Breakups are never easy. Sometimes you throw yourself into your work, or into someone else. Other times you sit alone in a dark room, clutching a bottle of whiskey and listening to your favorite breakup anthems. 

Brad Pitt is the latter. 

The Daily Mail got the scoop on Pitt post-divorce from Angelina Jolie, who took the kids and slung child abuse accusations at the actor (he was cleared of any wrongdoing), and it seems like he’s living his best post-breakup life. Spending most of his time in a Los Angeles art studio, the 53-year old has reportedly filled his time by taking up sculpting, often staying up all night “working on his art and listening to emotional songs.”

As impossibly Bushwick as that sounds, it gets even moreso when the source reveals Pitt’s soundtrack includes a ton of Bon Iver and Waylon Jennings’ breakup anthem “Just to Satisfy You.” 

For his part, Justin Vernon responded on Twitter like a concerned friend would. Maybe he can help Pitt see the light so we can get on with Oceans Fourteen already.
