Blind Boys of Alabama Give Hilarious Interview, Perform on _Colbert_

Rob Slater on November 15, 2013

The Blind Boys of Alabama stole the show last night on The Colbert Report as the group delivered two must-see performances along with a great interview featuring founding member Jimmy Carter. The host ribs Carter for not revealing his age, to which Carter responds brilliantly. Colbert asks Carter’s thoughts on racism, despite the fact that he’s blind, which also elicits a great response. Both Colbert, Carter and the crowd really seemed to enjoy the sit-down.

The group then took to the stage to perform a track from their latest album I’ll Find A Way, “There Will Never Be Any Peace” as well as a web exclusive performance of “Amazing Grace.” Check out our review of I’ll Find A Way on Relix.com.
