Billy & The Kids, Lions on the Moon Play the Capitol Theater (A Gallery)

Billy and the Kids presented “Europe Seventy 2.0” featuring tunes from the legendary Grateful Dead run through Europe in 1972. The band, which features Kreutzmann along with Tom Hamilton, Aron Magner and Reed Mathis, were also joined by special guest Robert Randolph for takes on “Dire Wolf,” “Deal,” “Loser” and “Casey Jones,” among several others.
Opening the show was Lions on the Moon featuring Brandon Niederauer. Randolph joined the fold during their set as well for a take on Allman Brothers’ “Whipping Post.” Dino Perrucci shared some photos from the show.
