Bill Walton, who recently recovered his bike after a 24-hour epidemic in Hawaii, called the matchup between Tennessee and Wisconsin today at the Maui Invitational. Not only did Walton call the game with his patented exuberance, but also dressed the part much like anyone would while vacationing in Hawaii.

“It doesn’t get any better than this, I just got lei’d, we’re in Maui, Maui Jim we can see clearly with all kinds of colors, the detail is phenomenal,” Walton shared to start the broadcast, a sermon of sorts. You’ll see below. Reports from Twitter also suggest he mentioned going whale-watching with Jay Bilas and waxed poetic about volcanic formations.

To end the half, Walton fired off a number of traits that may or may not apply to the team trailing by eight at halftime.

There was also shirtless rowing.

Of course there were Grateful Dead references, but the big takeaway here is that Bill Walton is at peak chill in Hawaii and loving every second of it.
