Band of Horses are off the road for a little while and it may have to do with the status of their lead guitarist Tyler Ramsey, who suffered a career-ending leg injury according to The Hard Times and, like any injured horse, had to be euthanized. 

“Silva Artist Management later confirmed the incident, releasing a statement that Ramsey was ‘put out to pasture,'” the piece wrote after quoting several traumatized fans in attendance of the band’s show in Louisville (home of the Kentucky Derby). 

The article in itself is quite funny and the headline is so damn clever I’ll be stealing it on social media at a currently undisclosed date, but the headline reached the band who piped in with a rather inconspicuous tweet, jokingly referencing the incident (that, if you haven’t deduced by now, is not real). All in all, well played by all sides.
