Speaking to NME sans beard and long hair, Father John Misty doubled down on his Nickelback fandom in what we can hope is just another edgy turn in the Father John Misty character.
“I will ride for Nickelback, OK?” Tillman said, referring to a recent article published comparing insufferable EDM act The Chainsmokers as “the Nickelback of EDM.” He continued, “‘How You Remind Me’….That’s a fucking great song. Have you heard that song? It’s great.”
He wrapped up, “I will ride for Nickelback – I want that on the record. ‘Farmer John Misery – I ride for Nickelback’.”
