Arctic Monkeys Revive Rock and Roll at BRIT Awards

The BRIT Awards, Britain’s version of the Grammys, kicked off with this rousing performance by indie rockers Arctic Monkeys, ripping into their original “R U Mine?” from 2013’s AM with the help of some pyrotechnics. However, that wouldn’t be the only time Arctic Monkeys heated up the room.

Upon winning British Album of the Year (the band’s second award of the night along with Best British Group), frontman Alex Turner delivered one of the best acceptance speeches of the year. It was everything a fan of rock and roll wants to hear. There’s no sense in telling you any more, just watch and enjoy.
