Arcade Fire Open Barclays Center Run (A Gallery)

August 25, 2014

Arcade Fire kicked off a three-night run at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center as their critically-acclaimed Reflektor tour nears its end. The band came out with plenty of energy to a sold out room as they moved through cuts like “Neighborhood #3 (Power Out),” “Rebellion (Lies),” “The Suburbs” and many others. During the encore, the group welcomed out David Johansen of the New York Dolls for a special performance of the classic “Hot Hot Hot,” much to the crowd’s delight. The show closed with energetic takes on “Here Comes the Night Time” (featuring a full confetti cannons), “Normal Person” and the finale of “Wake Up.” Scott Harris shared some images from the evening.
