Arcade Fire Clean Up After Mardi Gras in New Song “Electric Blue”

July 13, 2017

Arcade Fire’s newest offering from Everything Now arrived moments ago in the form of “Electric Blue,” a song that continues the band’s disco feel thus far with other songs like “Everything Now,” “Creature Comfort” and “Signs of Life.”

“Electric Blue” marks one of those rare occasions where Regine Chassagne takes the lead vocals, as she stars in the video by herself without any other bandmates. Chassagne has previously led the charge on tunes like “Sprawl II,” “Haiti” and “In the Backseat,” among others. The song reportedly features producers Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk, who looks to have teamed with the band on a majority of the record.
