Oneonta, NY’s Space Carnival will release their debut studio album next Friday, July 15. Drawn In By The Sun captures the group’s groove-oriented style described as “slippery disco.” Songs such as “Moon Boots” highlights the band’s penchant for vibrant, flowing funk while “Mister Sam” captures their progressive side. The group tells Relix, “We are primarily a live band, utilizing the stage as a tool for improvisation, so this album is a way for us to broadcast our music in a concise package.”
