Arcade Fire capped another eventful edition of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon as the Canadian rockers put an inventive spin on their new cut “Afterlife.” With First Lady Michelle Obama and Will Ferrell looking on, Arcade Fire set the bar for Tonight Show performances as the band deployed their own disco ball as well as some excellent handheld camera work from Win Butler as he sang the first verse of the tune.

Thursday’s episode also featured appearances from First Lady Michelle Obama, who was on to promote her “Let’s Move” campaign and discuss a series of “firsts” for her. For inquiring minds, the First Lady’s first job was in a book bindery, whatever that is. All-around funny guy Will Ferrell stopped by and showed off his figure skating routine for the 2018 Olympics. Something tells me he won’t make the team. Watch the replay of Arcade Fire below.

Friday’s show features Jimmy’s old pal Justin Timberlake, who is in the middle of a two-night run at Madison Square Garden. When Fallon and Timberlake get together, amazing things tend to happen.
