Album Premiere: North Mississippi Allstars _Prayer for Peace_

On June 2, North Mississippi Allstars will release their highly anticipated follow-up to 2013’s World Boogie Is Coming. Luther and Cody Dickinson produced Prayer For Peace along with Bo Mitchell, recording much of it at the Mitchell family’s renowned Royal Studios in Memphis. Given the Allstars’ steady tour schedule, some of the sessions took place on the road, drawing in guests such as: Oteil Burbridge, Graeme Lesh, Sharisse Norman, Dominic Davis and Shardé Thomas.
Today we share the premiere stream of Prayer For Peace, which is now available for pre-order. The Allstars will celebrate the new release with three shows at Antones’ in Austin from June 1-3, with their upcoming itinerary listed below the stream.
