for the trinity:* Matt. 28:19, Go tefherore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,* 2 Cor. 13:14, The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.* Eph. 4:4-7, There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. 7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.* Jude 20-21, But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith; praying in the Holy Spirit; 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. god is the head AND they all work together as one is what i understand from scripturetheres a lot of division b/c different people have different views on the same scripture. thus, all the different denominations about drums playing during worship service, submerging or sprinkling water during baptism, etc. the best thing is for people to read the scripture for themselves so they can know and decide what they feel is right in their hearts and find likeminded people to worship w/. and so you know, catholics have a whole lot of made up stuff that is not biblically based at allwith the pope agreeing on homosexuality and gay marriage, well he’s the pope, not god. he’s flawed in his thinking and judgment. he’s a man. what more could you really expect? i wasn’t thinking the man was god so whatever he says or does doesn’t shock me just like any other idolized people or pop starsand as for people that didn’t know Christianity- not that there are many today but as for those of the past, the bible tells you how God will judge them. it says god looks at the heart of man. also, that he knows a man’s heart and that all men know there is a god. only a fool says there is no god. so even though those people didn’t have jesus then, they knew of god and it’s my understanding from studying history that they gave credit to god/gods for everything: the climate, their productivity, their health and triumphs, the rain etc.also, it is my belief that god, being just and fair and perfect loving father he is, is going to have those people resurrected during the 1000 yr reign of christ to learn about him and god’s law and be given the same opportunity to decide that way. there is a verse, though i can’t find it just yet, in the bible that says none will stand before god without having had the opportunity to know himjesus did die on the cross and he rose again. he’s gone back to god who prepares a place for all that love him and want to follow him and accept his loving sacrifice. he promises to return when it is time and all have heard this message in all nations throughout the world. god sits waiting patiently so that all may have time to repent, saying it is not his will that any perish Was this answer helpful?
