1) Remove the mandatory pnakirg fee at the casinos2) Help the boardwalk thrive by allowing restricted gaming licenses like Nevada does. No more than 15 machines allowed, and no table games. 2) Use the application process for those restriced gaming licenses to turn the boardwalk into an enjoyable destination itself: Revel to Tropicana may be too much to ask, but start with one strip (Trop to Boardwalk Hall?) and do it. a) Out with the anti-social massage parlors and cheap t-shirt shops.b) In with a variety of barsi) A bustling place a la Chickie’s & Pete’sii) a more laid back speak easy style place emphasizing cocktailsiii) a wine bariv) a joint for live musicv) a cheesy live music place (polka band, piano sing along whatever)c) street performers licensed and auditioned by an entertainment board*d) kiosk stands along the way serving lemonade or ice cream in warm weather, hot chocolate and roast chestnuts in cooler weather, popcorn all the timee) foot and bike patrols by police.f) illuminated kites3) Promote that boardwalk. * and get a reality show for this audition process even if self produced and posted on YouTube or Mimeo
