Assembly of Dust: Found Sound

LionHeart Music Co.
Unbeknownst to the members of Assembly of Dust, Jack Trifiro secretly recorded their New Year’s Eve concert at Keene, N.H.’s Colonial Theatre. The result was exactly what the renowned sound engineer had hoped for: an unfiltered, unfettered and acutely spirited performance by AOD. Its most recent release, Found Sound, captures eight songs from that evening. At the heart of the live album is a synergy that finds frontman Reid Genauer’s acrobatic wordplay (“Feline Disguise”) fueled by the band’s bluegrass-like frenzy. Collectively, they provide lead guitarist Adam Terrell with the perfect platform for gravity defying solos (“Cabin John”). On “Songbeard,” Genauer sings, “A song will grow and seize your body, and make you whole”—a fitting sentiment for Found Sound.
