Ryan Montbleau : Stages: Volume II

Blue’s Mountain
Singer/songwriter Ryan Montbleau spends most of his time fronting a five-piece band, but occasionally he’ll perform by himself. The second volume of Montbleau’s Stages series was culled from his solo acoustic shows this past March. This crisp-sounding release includes tastefully reworked versions of classic tunes from the Montbleau Band’s repertoire (“Grain of Sand,” “The Boat Song,” “Quickie”), a heartfelt Paul Simon cover (“Duncan”) and a country-tinged studio bonus (“More and More and More”). Stages: Volume II shows off Montbleau at his best, putting tons of emotion into each word that he sings and each chord that he strums.
