new years 2001 had Vic Chesnutt come out & play with the boys for the whole first set making it a brute. set. keeping in mind that Vic was a best bud of the boys and it being Housers final nye show & it going back to the 3 night run, there was plenty of “Panic” music in there to throw a set of this magnitude in there for great measure!! that’s why in my mind this was the best new years eve & a stand out 3 night run.

Nay, I disagree. #1 hands down was 12/31/2008. 1st – YMSB opened for them that night. 2nd – the 1st set they played entire space wrangler album 3rd – Jeff ( mandilion ) and Dave ( banjo ) made a few guest appearances that evening during 2nd set. ( only thing that didn’t make this the most perfect panic show of all time was the fact that Mikey wasn’t there, but I do luv me some jimmy ) Close 2nd 12/31/99
1st – and foremost you have Mikey + dirty dozen brass band + Dottie people’s choice choir.
2nd – Its in hot lanta bee-yaa-chezz
3rd – I’m from denver so hence why 12/31/08 is my favorite ( can claim over atlanta cuz even Panic says there 2nd home is the rocky mtn high colorado state )
