In a cluttered digital landscape, it’s hard for bands to find that point of difference that makes people notice. Amidst the rest of the noise, lespecial is the squeaky wheel that demands attention. One moment, the trio of multi-instrumentalists Luke Bemand and Jonathan Grusauskas alongside drummer Rory Dolan will get incredibly silky, producing rhythms that are funky and light up the dance floor. The next, the trio will be diving into an aggressive tribal medley that’s primal and chaotic but juxtaposed with incredibly precise musicianship.

Having just released their sophomore EP Ceremony, lespecial continues to evolve musically and is currently on the road to share their music with a growing, dedicated family of fans and collaborators.

“Our new EP was a cathartic experience, allowing us to explore a very different sound,” said Grusauskas. “It retains dark undertones but also utilizes more texture and airy minimalism. We’re very happy with the recording and the vibe and excited to be back on the road. We’ll be playing lots of hip-hop with guest MCs on this tour and showcasing new material, keeping it fresh for us and our fans at the same time.”
