Trent Reznor Says Nine Inch Nails Will Return in 2016

December 18, 2015

Trent Reznor confirmed to fans via a tweet that Nine Inch Nails will return in 2016, along with “other” new “stuff” from Reznor. “New NIN coming in 2016,” he wrote.

Most recently, Reznor has worked on scores for films like Gone Girl and remained relatively out of the public eye until this announcement. Nine Inch Nails, who were recently up for nomination at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, last official release came in the form of 2013’s Hesitation Marks, which was supported by a lengthy tour.

In related news, the band also recently announced a project with longtime collaborator and artist Russell Mills dubbed Cargo in the Blood, a 320-page book collecting all of the works Mills created for Hesitation Marks. Each volume also includes an original mixed media painting created by Russell Mills specifically for the project. Cargo In The Blood is limited to 2000 copies and is available now.
