Phish Possibly Readying New Year’s 1995 Vinyl Release for Record Store Day

It appears as if Phish is prepping to release a 6-LP vinyl collection of their famed New Year’s 1995 show at Madison Square Garden for Record Store Day. A listing uncovered by Reddit suggests that the release in indeed on the way. A Canadian distribution site previously listed the upcoming release. The band teased a potential vinyl release on Friday with a post on their Facebook page.

The show features landmark takes on some of the band’s live staples along with an appearance from Tom Marshall on vocals for a cover of Collective Soul’s “Shine” during “Fly Famous Mockingbird” and also contains the last performance of “Axilla (Part II)” and just the second “Sea and Sand” ever. The tune would be performed one more time in 1998.
