Matt Burr (Grace Potter & The Nocturnals) will bring his Dark Side of the Mountain project to Nectar’s in Burlington for two nights this weekend. The group which also features Bob Wagner (Kat Wright & The Indomidable Soul Band), Matt Hagen (Lendway, The High Breaks) Josh Weinstein (Kat Wright & The Indomidable Soul Band) and Dan Munzig (Errands, Ryan Power) will draw on the material from Pink Floyd catalog, including Obscured By Clouds and songs from the Syd Barrett era for performances on Friday and Saturday nights. A projection-based light show will also accompany the musical performance. Burr tells Relix, “I always get off on returning to Nectar’s for shows so it was a no brainer to bring this project back for an encore on Halloween weekend. Who knows, maybe this will become an annual Floyd freak fest! We have been blessed with incredible crowds who seem to dig on our Pompei-era raw approach to the performances.”
