Donald Trump Says Neil Young is a ‘Total Hypocrite’
Neil Young spent a majority of last week releasing statements about Donald Trump’s use of “Rockin’ in the Free World” during his Presidential campaign announcement. Young later allowed Bernie Sanders, his candidate of choice, to use the song. It seemed as that would be the end of it, but Trump has fired back at the legendary guitarist.
Trump detailed, via his Twitter account, a story of Neil Young coming to his office looking for funding for his Pono player, even posting a happy picture of the two shaking hands in Trump’s office. “Total hypocrite,” he tweeted as he posted a picture of the two of them along with Young’s funding request.
Trump ended the brief Twitter tirade by noting that “Rockin’ in the Free World” was just one of ten songs used in the background and that he “didn’t love it anyway.” Check out the tweets below.

.@Neilyoung’s song, “Rockin’ In The Free World” was just one of 10 songs used as background music. Didn’t love it anyway.
