Audio Premiere: Mason Jennings “Rainboots”

The latest album from Mason Jennings is set for release on November 12. Producer Bo Ramsey (Greg Brown, The Pines, Iris DeMent) worked with Jennings on Always Been, which also includes a variety of guest players including Brown, DeMent Chad Cromwell (Neil Young, Joe Walsh) and members of The Pines. Today we premiere “Rainboots” from the forthcoming record.
Here is what Jennings has to say about the song: “I’ve spent a lot of time in New York City over the last few years. Spent lots of time in taxis. This is a song that was inspired by that city and a story that came to mind about love at first sight and chasing dreams. Literally.”
